Summit table

Sir: I have been following with interest the correspondence on the subject of restau- rants in Cardiff (Letters, 9 May). It is sim- ply not true that there is only one restau- rant in Cardiff worthy of review. There is at least one other. It is Le Cassoulet, tucked away in the Victorian residential quarter of Canton, not a mile from the city centre. The French regional cooking is competent- ly prepared from good, fresh ingredients, carefully presented and served with cour- tesy and charm in a relaxed environment free of pretension.

This is where I suggest the delegates to the forthcoming European summit go — if they can get a table.
