[To THE EDITOR OF THE " MPEOTATOR." J SIR,—No. Longfellow did not "perpetrate a blunder." The Emperor Charles of Spain is all right. He was the Emperor, and he was of Spain. Had Longfellow written Charles Emperor of Spain he would, indeed, have "perpetrated a blunder." It is "E. G. R." who has blundered, not the bard.
