The contents of the March number of Atalanta are excellent
and varied. Among the miscellaneous articles, we note as excep- tionally good, Miss Mabel Robinson's "Children in Italian Sculp- ture." The serial fiction, contributed chiefly by Mrs. Walford, Mr. J. T. Trowbridge, and Mr. Julian Corbett, has reached a very high standard of excellence indeed. But is not Mr. Norris rather too Thackerayan or quasi-Thackerayan a writer for the readers of Atalanta to appreciate ?
