MR. MOREL AND THE CONGO.

[TO THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR.1

Sra,—I should be much obliged if you would draw the attention of your readers to the movement inaugurated by Lord Cromer to present Mr. Morel with a national testimonial as a sign of appreciation for his long and entirely unselfish and unpaid work for the improvement of conditions in the Congo. Coutts and Co. of the Strand have kindly consented to receive and acknowledge all communications.—I am, Windleshany, Crowborough, Sussex.
