fronts there is little or none, except that the Rumanian Army is still unbroken. It retires fighting, and will no doubt continue so to do 'until the positions prepared in its rear are reached—positions which it will find already defended by Russian troops. Opposite these lines, unless all the omens prove false, the Germans will have to dig themselves in and carry out yet another winter trench campaign.
