We note with pleasure that Lord Westbury leaves behind him

£300,000, besides a large estate in Italy, and, we believe, some lands in this country. We say with pleasure, because much of the latent suspicion that he was personally concerned in the scandals which compelled him to quit the Woolsack arose from the mistaken idea that he was comparatively a needy man.
