The Three Curates. By Mrs. G. Bigg-Withers. 3 vols. (F.
V. White.)—This title suggests, scarcely to the advantage of the story, the three curates in "Shirley." It must be allowed that Mrs. Bigg- Withers's heroes are much more according to the correct clerical pattern than the three Limiter] whom Charlotte Br-milli described ; but they are not so interesting. In fact, the has of this story is correct- ness rather than intereak—the style, indeed, excepted, for this, we cannot honestly affirm to have either characteristic.
