SIR,—In his very interesting article on the City of London, Paul Ferris mentioned our journeyman tailors. Unfortunately this was misprinted as 'German' tailors.
Whilst I would be Mppy to employ German tailors, or men of any nationality, if they were first- class craftsmen, it so happens that all our craftsmen are British, and I'm pleased to say that we still have British apprentices to this ancient and difficult craft.
