It was not without its significance that Mr. Baldwin in
the course of a long answer to a question from Mr. Churchill on Wednesday afternoon three times referred to him as " the right honourable gentleman " insttad of " my right honourable friend," which is the invariable way in which members of the Government refer to ex-Privy Councillor; who are members of their own Party. It would seem that after Mr. Churchill's recent outburst Mr. Baldwin is at pains to show that he no longer regards him as a supporter.
