A case of blind man's bluff
Sir: Amid all the sanctimonious humbug and hairsplitting about legality and illegality, those who now vilify Mr Smith might pause to re- member that it is his practical duty to protect all his people, irrespective of race, from brutal murderers such as those over whom an ocean of unctuous tears is now being spilt.
Far from receiving the help we ought to be giving him, Mr Smith and his government have to carry out this duty in the face of our aiding and abetting these bands of marauding terror- ists who deserve everything they get when caught.
