[To THE EDITOR OP TAR " SPECTATOR. "] SIR, —I should be
glad to express my great gratitude to you and your readers for the cordial response to my letter in the Spectator of May 25th. It is very encouraging that the amount (270) to support one worker for one year at ports and stations was sent within the week. This bas been passed on to the International Guild of Service for Women, so that one worker will now soon be at work. There is also some £20 in hand towards a second worker. I would gladly receive any help (especially yearly subscriptions) to complete this second £70, for there still remain to be provided sixty workers urgently wanted at ports and stations where the value of their work is incalculable. One lady has come forward with an offer of personal work, and there may be others who could help in this way—when trained.—I am, Sir, &o.,
