On the 11th December, at St. Pancras, Arthur William Watson Smith, Esq., of Cherbsey, to Jana Mary, eldest daughter of the late William Board Edward Gibbs Crawftrrd, Esq., of Predrill Park, Sussex.

On the I lth, at St. Luke's Church, Cork, Lieutenant-Colonel Joseph Ellison Port- lock, Royal Engineers, to Fanny, fourth daughter of Major-General Charles Turner, K.H., commanding Cork district.

On the 1 Ith, at Christ Church, Scarborough, the Rev. J. C. Atkinson, Incumbent of Danny, and DeruestieClutplain to the Viscount Dowse, to Jane Hill, eldest daughter of John Hill Coulson, Esq.. of Scarborough. DEATHS.

On the 225 July, at Parramatta, Major George Pitt D'Arey, formerly of the Thirty. ninth Regiment of Foot; in his 67th year. On the 22d October, en board the Midlothian, on his passage to England from Sydney, the Rev. Thomas liesgley Naylor, Incumbent of the Cathedral Church of St. Andrew's, Sydney ; in his 44th year. On the 1st December, at Eecleadeld, Sarah, the Wife of Joseph Senior, nathensker ; in her 93th year.

On the 4th, the above-named Joseph Senior; in his 97th year. Ecelestield has lost by his death one of the most zealous anglers and huntsmen. These sports of his youth were enjoyed to within eighteen months of his death. The aged couple retained their reasoning faculties to the last moment of their lives.

On the 7th, at Milan Hill, near Chepstow, Alajor-General Sir Edward Kyntan Williams, K.C.B., Colonel of the Eightieth Regiment ; in his 71st year.

On the 7th, in Wilton Place, Beigrave Square, Mrs. Isabella Dunlop ; fisher 90th year. On the 8th, at Cheltenham, the Lady Cecilia La Touche ; in her 84th year.

On the 8th, at Epsom, Henry Miller, Esq., 11.M., second son of the late Major-Gum- ml Miller, R.M. ; in his 60th year. On the 9th. at Juniper IIIII, Aliekleham, Surrey, the lion. and Rev. Sir Henry Leslie, Bart., late Chaplain to George the Third, youngest son of Jane Elizabeth, Countess of Bathes, and Slr Lucas Pepya, Bart., Physician to the Court of George the Third. On the 9th, in Charlotte Street, Portland Place, Miss Cocker ; In her 90th year. On the night of the 9th, supposed to have been accidentally drowned, Louis Henry Shadwell, Esq., second surviving son of the Vice-Chancellor of England.

On the 9th, the Rev. Hugh Wynne Jones, ALA., of Tretorworth, Anglesey, Chan. cellor of Bangor Cathedral, Rector of Llantrisaut and Aberffraw, and Chaplain to the Marquis of Anglesey; in his 74th year. Ou the 10th, at Puny, the residence of his brother-du-law, Philip Pusey, Esq., M.P., the Earl of Carnarvon ; in his 50th year. Ou the 10th, at St. Leonards-on-See, Sir James B. Urmston, formerly President of the II.E.I.C.'s Affairs at China ; in his 67th year.

On the 12th, in St. James's Park, Sir Marc Lambert Brunel, lint., Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur, Vice-President of the Royal Society and of the Institution of Civil Engineers, &c. ; In his 81st year. Lately, at Broom House, Berwickshire, Ideutenant-General James Roane, late of the Royal Alarimis; in his 92d year.
