Sir: I, too, am surprised that Charles Moore didn't hear the word 'twat' until so late in his life (Another voice, 4 July). Surely he is not too young to have been told the leg- endary but I suspect not apocryphal story of my old friend Tallulah Bankhead being asked, on an aeroplane flight, by the stew- ardess, 'Miss Bankhead, would you like some of our TWA coffee?' Tallulah raised an eyebrow. 'No, but I'll have some of your TWA tea.'
