Stk.—The four-and-a-half-minute review of the British press broadcast in the BBC's French Language Service at 7.25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, men- tioned in the letter from Mr Henry Jones (April 8), dealt with the following topics:
the 23rd party congress in Moscow (including quotations from The Times and the Guardian) 25 lines Vietnam (including quotations from the Scotsman and Daily Express) 19 lines the general election (including quotations from the Guardian. Daily Express and Sun) 15 lines The quotation from the Guardian on the general election consisted of one sentence of sixteen words : Mats le Guardian, liberal, pense que pour une fon, les sondages d'opinion pourraient etre erronnes: Chief Publicity Officer, Europe BBC. Bush House, London, WC2
