Intelligence has been received today from Launceston in Van Diemen's

Land, to the 16th Jane. The only point of news is the active pursuit of some desperate bushrangers who bad been troubling the colony. From South Australia, however, there are accounts of commercial im- provement; and some briskness at auction-sales is mentioned as a proof that money was more abundant.
