SIR,—May we be permitted to correct Miss Kate O'Brien's impression that Frossia is the first novel by Miss E. M. Almedingen? It is in fact her fourth, this firm having published Young Catherine in October, 1937, The Lion of the North in September, 1938, and She Married Pushkin in July, 1939.
