It is excellent news that virtual agreement has un- expeetedly

been reached in the negotiations for the University of London site in Bloomsbury. The University Will have eleven acres in the heart of London to c meentrate all its activities. This happy result has been made possible partly by the limited grant promised by the Chancellor of the Exchequer last July and partly by a munificent gift from the Rockefeller Foundation.
