Lord Melbourne has been seriously unwell, but is now recovering.
We are glad to learn that there are letters in town from Lord Brougham, which state that his Lordship has been able, in consequence of the recent fine weather, to take exercise for several hours in the open air. It is at present his Lordship's intention to proceed in the course of a few days into Lincolnshire to visit Lady Brougham and his daughter ; on his way he pays a short visit to his noble friend Earl Spencer. It is not probable that he will be in town during the present session of Parliament, as he intends staying in Lincolnshire five or six weeks.—Standard.
