From the Country, the reports. are incomplete; there are no accounts from Glasgow,—for what reason, we do not know. . The number now remaining out of London is 117; of. these, 41 cases are in England,— 30 at Ely, and 11 at Rickmansworth, Herts. There has been a slight increase in Edinburgh,-29 eases, 12 deaths ; there are at present 10 cases in that city. We have received a long letter from a surgeon at Dover, on the sub- ject of the epidemic. The writer is inclined to dispute the fact of its being cholera at all. Had his communication come at an earlier period of the visitation, or in a week when our columns were less pressed, we should have been happy to use it. He deprecates bleeding.
