In the Spectator of April 18th, 1931, we published an

article by Lord Lugard in which he described the work which urgently, needs to be done for native children in Africa under the title of " Child Welfare in Africa." Further information on the International Conference on African Children, which will be convened this month by the " Save the Children International Union " at Geneva, is given in the June number of The World's Children, published by the Weardale Press, 26 Gordon Street, W.C. 1, at the price of fourpence. We feel this Conference will have the good wishes of all our readers.
