Lifeline for Laker

Sir: May I suggest to the Laker Airways Receiver through your columns that in the light of the enormous public support for Sir Freddie, the Receiver should announce a scheme which would provide for members of the public, private and corporate, to pur- chase advance tickets with a three- or four- year life. Such a scheme would represent a critical lifeline for Laker, in addition to being a useful and welcome present for friends and staff alike.
