Celery Trenches February is a good month in which to
prepare. trenches for celery. Take out the soil to a depth of eighteen inches, and make the trench fifteen inches wide, spread a six-inch layer of manure mixed with top soil, and tread down before filling once more. Trenches should be three feet apart, and until June, when seedlings are planted out, the
space between can be sown with salad crops. IAN NIALL.
