On the 15th September, from concussion of the brain, caused by a fall from • balcony, in the Residency of Lncknow, Lieutenant James Fullerton, 16th Regi- ment N.I., third son of the late Lord Fullerton, one of the Judges of the Court of Session ; in his 27th year, On the 10th January, at Port Royal, Jamaica, Colonel Tucker, commanding Royal Engineers ; in his 59th year. On the 31st, in Leeson Street, Dublin, Mrs. Lefroy, wife of the Lord Chief Justice of Ireland.
On the 3d February, at Exmouth, Vice-Admiral the lion. William Gordon, for more than thirty years M.P. for the County of Aberdeen ; in his 74th year. On the 4th, Thomas Campbell, Esq., sculptor, of Great Marlborough Street. On the 4th, in Hyde Park Gardens, the Rev. Charles Chichester, Rector of Barton, near Mildenhall ; in his 60th year. On the 5th, John Pauncefoot Hawkins, Esq., C.B., of Minsterworth, Gloucester- shire, late Lieutenant-Colonel of H.M.'s 68th Regiment ; in his 74th year. On the 7th, at Burlingham, John Horsley Palmer. Esq. ; in his 78th year. On the 7th, at Brighton, Sir Charles Leslie Falkiner, Bart., Captain R.N. On the 10th, at Toddington, Gloucestershire, Lord Sudeley ; in his 81st year. Lately, at Cheltenham, Mrs. Flanrey ; in her 98th year.
