The Portfolio, April. (Seeley.)—Mr. Loftie's paper, on " West- minster
Abbey" in this number deals with the "Coronations," and is particularly interesting. But perhaps the most noticealika paper in the number is a curious description and reproduction of some work by Charles Kirkpatrick Sharpe, " Queen Elizabeth in Caricature," as given by Mr. W. K. R. Bedford. These drawings are indeed of the very first quality. The principal illustration is a very graceful etching by Mr. C. 0. Murray, of William Collins's " Prawn Catchers."
