At the thirty-second annual meeting of the Universal Life Assurance

Society the profits were. stated to amount to 1.98,3631. 7s, 8d. Four-fifths of that amount have been set -apart for future annual divisions of profits, and the remainder has been disposed of by a.reduction of 50 per cent, on all policies of six years' stand- ing. A bonus of 11. 19s. per share will be payable to the share- holders in June.
