Lawn Care
My grass—conscience prevents my calling'it lawn—is in a desperate state through neglect of dandelions,, daisies and moss. . Since lawn sand, which would deal with the weeds, would have a bad effect on the mossy areas which are sour, I must use one of the hormone stimulants on the weeds and a solution of permanganate of potash on the moss. At the moment my fear is that having eliminated weeds and moss 1 may find more " desert " area than grass, in which case I
might try a sowing of camomile next spring. IAN NIALL.
