VINOUS QUESTIONS
SIR,—Mr. Postgate in his interesting and informative article on Yugoslavian wines on November 24 men- tioned that, as far as he was aware, the dry Zilavka was not available in this country. Some of your readers may like to know that thi3 wine can in fact be supplied at Its. 6d. by R. and W. Teltscher Ltd., 374 Old Street, London, EC1, who were, I believe, the first to introduce Yugoslav wines to England. This firm now lists no fewer than thirteen wines of the country in their latest catalogue, all at very moderate prices.
