In the western theatre of the war there has been

very little doing during the week in Flanders, but in the centre of the French line—that is, in the Reims district—we hear of many German trenches being carried and of their always being held by their captors. A feature of the last fortnight has been the establishment of the supremacy of the Allies in artillery.
