Sonic self-styled " Loyalists" of Montreal had a meeting in
the beginning of last month, and passed resolutions, stigmatizing the conduct of the House of Assembly, and the PAPnrsAu party in the province, and declaring that the British connexion was essen- tial to the prosperity of Lower Canada. The meeting was not very numerously attended. There are symptoms of dissatisfaction in Upper Canada a Sir FRANCIS HEAD, in consequence of' his indiscreet in dlitrg with the ennduct of banking affairs in the province. The credi- tors are said to be the ccmplaining parties.
