My fight against the EU

From Mr Peter Hitchens Sir: Donna Sherwood (Letters. 5 April) beautifully demonstrates the irrational position of pro-war conservatives. She describes me as a 'deluded fool', while lauding my brother Christopher as 'a man of inestimable stature'. Well, I'm pleased she likes one of us. But she then urges me to turn my attention to the problem of the EU and its democratic deficit. As she could easily have found out, I have been doing this for many years at every possible opportunity. My inestimable brother, whom she admires so much, is by contrast a keen supporter of the selfsame EU. Does she really know what sort of company she is keeping? Peter Hitchens London W8
