We must add a line of postscript as to Mr.

Churchill's repeated use of the word " temporary." He speaks, for example, of "the temporary absence of the representation of North-East Ulster" from the Dublin Parliament. This proviso need not disturb Unionists in the least. If the men of North-East Ulster mean what Mr. Churchill calls " temporary" to be "permanent," as they do, no one will be able to alter their determination. At the same time, we cannot forbid the Nationalists from trying to persuade the Protestants of the north to walk into their legislative parlour in Dublin. The people of Belfast are not flies.
