TIIE Queen held a Privy Council it Windsor, on Mond,iy afternoon. It was attended by Lord Melbourne, Mr, Spring Rice, Lord Palmerston, the Duke of Ar,fyll, the Marquis Conynghain, the Earl of Albemarle, and Lord Hill. Some orders in Council relative to Colonial affairs were passed. Dr. Lushington, Chief Judge of the Admiralty Court, was sworn in a Member of the Council. The Royal ditmer.party in the evening consisted chiefly of the noblemen and gentlemen who assisted at the Council. The next morning, Lunt Hill and Dr. Lushington left the Castle ; and on Wednesday Lord Palmerston and Mr. Spring, Rice took their departure. Lord Melbourne remained till yesterday, when he went to town to attend the Lord Mayor's dinner.
The Dutchess. Countess of Sutherland arrived at the Castle on Thursday, on a visit to the Queen.
Her Majesty continues her rides on horseback, generally accompanied by Baroness Lehzen, Lord Melbourne, Miss Quentin, Lord Byron, and the Earl of Surry.
It is quite uncertain when the Queen goes to Brighton.
