Souvenir of Old England. By an Anglo-American. (Simpkin and Marshall.)—There

is very little here of the reflections and observations, always interesting in their way, which an American makes when he visits the "old country." The "Anglo-American" was born, it seems, in England, and does little else than give us some sketches of sports,—sketches certainly not to be compared with some that we have seen elsewhere. They may have more novelty and interest to readers on the other side of the Atlantic ; we can praise only the pleasant tone and good-humour with which they are writ ten.
