The trial of the Overend-durney case has been postponed to

December, when the Attorney-General will prosecute on behalf of the private prosecutor. There were not sitting days left suffi- cient for such a trial. We are far enough yet from Bentharn's ideal of Courts of Justice, always open, without cost or annoyance to the suitors.
