EARLY SOWING

Boxes of healthy leek and onion seedlings are to be prized when it comes to laying out the vegetable garden. In wet or hard weather, when little can be done outside, it pays to do some sowing in boxes. A number of things can be brought along in this fashion and little time lost iu the eud.
