NOBODY'S MAN. By E. Phillips Oppenheim. (Hodder -and -Stoughton. 7s.
6d.)—It is strange to find Mr. Phillips Oppenheim choosing as his hero an earnest politician with a love for social reform. The author does not seem quite at borne in this medium and is happier when he introduces plots
and conspiracies. The whole book, although it cannot be taken too seriously, is quite good reading.
