THE SIENESE SCHOOL OF PAINTING.
[TO THE EDITOR OF THE " SPECTATOR."'
SIR, —I have been asked by the Commissione Sienese di Storia Patria to make a catalogue raisonne of pictures of the Sienese school in Great Britain and Ireland. In the course of some years' search I have succeeded in finding in this country about one hundred and thirty Sienese paintings. I shall be deeply grateful to any of your readers who possess pictures of this school, or have knowledge of such works, if they will com- municate with me. All letters may be addressed to me at 110 Piccadilly, W.—I am, Sir, &c.,
R. LANGTON DOUGLAS.
