There are not a few readers, we fancy, who will
be glad to renew their acquaintance with friends of their youth in some of Maria Edgeworth's tales. .And if the young people have not been spoilt by more stimulating food, they too will give them a welcome. Mears. Rontledge and Sons have done well to republish Rosamond: a Series of Tales, beginning with "The Purple Jar," and ending with "The Microscope ;" and Harry and Lucy, with Little Dog Trusty, The Orange Man, and The Cherry Orchard. Both volumes are prettily illustrated.
