Letters from Scotland received today advise of a most extraordinary event. The Lord-Lieutenant of a Scottish county, and a member of the Scotch Peerage, has suddenly absconded, leaving behind him a mass of bills and securities bearing the forged names of his own son and other relatives. The signatures have been repudiated by the respective parties. It is reported that large amounts of charity funds are involved in this wreck of the party in question.—Daily News.
